Multiple Award winners at Dalby Business Excellence Awards - 22/10/2010
The “Accountants with Personality” are all smiles after Carrick Ashmead accepted two award wins at the 2010 Dalby Chamber of Commerce & Industry 15th Annual Business Excellence Awards held at the Dalby Showgrounds on Friday night 22nd October.
To be recognised as a winner amongst so many great businesses’ in Dalby and District including many much larger in size was a real thrill for our wonderful team members, recognising their outstanding efforts.
The gala dinner attracted a capacity crowd of in excess of 550 people.
The first one was a Crystal award under the criteria of “Leadership”.
Due to a change in the way the judging was conducted, we were competing against approximately 220 firms, rather than just in the professional category as in previous years.
The second was the overall award in which we won Gold as being one of the 5 firms scoring the most points overall across all of the 7 criteria.
The application process, whilst challenging in terms of the time and effort required, was a useful tool in benchmarking our firm against best practice across all aspects of business, ensuring all aspects of our business were being examined.
In addition to the application process, the judges gave us a site visit which allowed them to see first hand how our business was operating and seek further information to assist in their decision making.
In addition to thanking all our clients for their continued patronage, we wish to thank both the Chamber of Commerce and the judges for their successful endeavours in promoting Dalby as a great place to live and work.
